I graduated from Traviss in 2019 as a Certified Dental Assistant. Not only am I passionate about creating beautiful smiles, but I take pride in knowing that I have played a role in helping people achieve confidence in their smiles. Our teamwork here is amazing. Everyone is so welcoming and kind, and we all share the same common goal of treating our patients with the highest level of care.
I am a mother of two and love to spend time with my family on my days off. Our favorite hobby is kayaking the rivers of Florida any chance we get.

I completed my dental assistant program at Indiana University Northwest back in 2016. I have my expanded functions certification in both Indiana and Florida. At Scott Orthodontics, everyone is so friendly and has a great sense of humor. I love that the doctors are very encouraging and so appreciative of all the work we all put in. I also love that my job is very hands-on and allows me to see my patients' smiles change over time!
Outside of work, you'll find me either at Disney World with my sister or my boyfriend, at the gym, or at home hanging out with my two dogs, Ellie and Jackson, and my boyfriend, Cody.

Sterilization Technician
I began working with Scott Orthodontics in 2022. My job entails cleaning trays, sterilizing and bagging instruments, and making sure our staff has easy access to the things they need throughout the day. I love the process of organizing, cleaning, and prepping our sterilization room for my team. I appreciate that everyone is very friendly and helpful.
I have two cats. I love animals, and I enjoy going to the beach to surf as well as camping when I have free time.

I have experience in clinic work and appointment coordination, and I am glad I joined Scott Orthodontics. My job includes scheduling appointments, greeting patients, and facilitating a positive experience for all of our patients and families. I love working with my doctors and the rest of my team because the office has such a positive energy!
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family!

Orthodontic Assistant
I attended dental school abroad in 2010. After finishing my junior year, I came to the US and started working as an orthodontic assistant. I have had the privilege of working with experienced doctors in South Florida, New Jersey, New York, and now Florida. This experience has allowed me to gain great knowledge of a variety of orthodontic procedures and techniques.
I assist the doctors during orthodontic treatment, take medical records, handle orthodontic instruments, and give oral hygiene and appliance care instructions to patients. I enjoy treating patients, helping them overcome their fears, and making them feel comfortable and satisfied with their treatment. The doctors and the team at Scott Orthodontics have created a very nice environment with a strong focus on empathy and patient care.
My fiancé and I moved to central Florida with our 3-year-old boy, our two dogs, and our cat. While I am still discovering our community, I am hoping to find a place to continue my tae-kwon-do classes. Our family enjoys spending weekend afternoons at a nearby playground where our son enjoys Florida's nice weather. On rainy days, I always enjoy a good reading, a nice movie, or spending some time crafting decorations with my Cricut equipment. I love decorating events such as birthday parties, anniversaries, and baby showers.

I have been in the dental field since 1996, gaining experience in dental assisting, expanded functions, and orthodontic expanded functions. At Scott Orthodontics since 2020, I have assisted the doctors with patient treatment and worked hard to help patients feel comfortable during the process and be part of their journey to love their smiles. I really enjoy seeing our patients' transitions and progress throughout treatment. The best part is seeing their results after their braces are removed!
Outside of work, I love spending time with my children, fishing, playing at the park, and going to the beach.

I started my AA degree in general health at Polk State College and continued my education in the dental field with Dental Career Schools of Tampa Bay. I am EFDA certified. Scott Orthodontics has a great family atmosphere and is encouraging and driven to help our patients everyday as well as our team members. We are passionate about our jobs, so we have fun!
My job entails greeting new patients and taking the X-rays, photos, and scans so the treatment coordinator and doctors can find the best treatment plan for their new smile! I also help my team where I am needed in the office. I love working with patients, helping them start the process of treatment, and collaborating with my team to accomplish new smiles every day. I also enjoy working hands-on in the lab and helping where I am needed.
I love taking fun trips to the beach with my friends and family, as well as traveling to new places. I have a passion for animals and have a horse, cats, and dogs. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with the people I love.

I love working with my doctors and the rest of my team because we are not just a team, we're a family. We are always willing to help each other out. My favorite part about my job is seeing patients from beginning to end - the transformation. When their smile changes, their confidence grows. It makes me happy to work in a field where I can make a change in someone's life.
I have a daughter and a Yorkie. On my days off, I'm typically at a theme park, and if I'm on vacation, you can probably find me in Puerto Rico. I love to travel and spend time with my family.

Orthodontic Assistant & Lab Coordinator
I studied dental assisting at Traviss Technical College and passed three DANB exams to become a Certified Dental Assistant. I have been part of the team at Scott Orthodontics since 2019. I assist the doctors in the clinic and help make patients comfortable while being part of their journey toward a healthy and beautiful smile. I oversee the lab to make retainers and Scott Aligners and oversee all Invisalign® and appliances. There is nothing better than seeing our patients’ smiles transform from beginning to end and creating special bonds with them during their time here.
Though I have not yet been many places, I love traveling! When I am not working, I enjoy riding horses, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing.

As an orthodontic assistant, I work alongside the doctors and assist with wire changes, bracket placement, and impressions to provide patients with the highest level of treatment in their orthodontic care. I started working in the orthodontic field right out of school in 2017, attended Traviss Technical College, and joined Scott Orthodontics in 2020. I love watching patients fall in love with their smiles. We get to spend one-on-one time together, and I enjoy taking that time to get to know them.
My high school sweetheart and I have been together since 2007. We have two wonderful, amazing kids. For fun, we love going to the beach. We also love riding our four-wheelers, and we love to spend time with family.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Florida in 2009 and brought my knowledge and experience to Dr. Scott’s office in 2018. I oversee our marketing and communication efforts. We have a dedicated and hard-working team that creates beautiful smiles, and it is rewarding to communicate such positive stories and results. I also manage our human resources, bookkeeping, and accounts payable.
There is a high standard of excellence in our office, and it is empowering to work among a group of individuals who share a common goal: to deliver the best result for our patients and to make our patients feel like part of the family along the way.
I met my husband, Dr. Jon, during our undergraduate studies at the University of Florida. The greatest blessings in our lives are our two young children, Robert and Ellie. We also have a Golden Retriever named Lady and a mixed-breed rescue dog named Lucy. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, horseback riding, running, and almost anything outside to soak up the beautiful Florida sunshine.

I joined our team in 1999 as a certified orthodontic assistant, and I also worked for many years as a treatment coordinator. As our Financial Coordinator, I work with new patients to establish their payment plans and work with families regarding any financial questions. I am also the insurance coordinator and work with patients and parents to explore their orthodontic insurance benefits and file their claims to help minimize out-of-pocket expenses.
I have been happily married to Steve for 23 years, and we have two children. Our daughter has her private practice in Lakeland as a mental health counselor, and she and her husband just welcomed our first grandchild, Mackenzie. Our son is a college student at Florida Polytechnic and has attained his private pilot's license with hopes of becoming a commercial airline pilot someday. In my spare time, I love riding my motorcycle and camping on weekends, and I enjoy cooking for my family!

I joined Scott Orthodontics in June 2019, and I feel truly blessed to work with such a wonderful group of professionals. I could not be happier with where I am. Both doctors are outstanding and so highly respected. I am proud to be a part of this office.
It has been my pleasure to help our patients schedule appointments and set up financial contracts. I enjoy greeting all our patients and look forward to helping make their experience the best it can possibly be.
I am happily married to my best friend Derek, and we have two children: a son, Noah, and a daughter, Riley. We have two bluetick hound dogs, Bonnie Blue and Stormy June. We stay busy during our weekends as a family, watching Noah’s travel basketball games, going on trips, camping, and going to the lake on our boat.

Orthodontic Assistant
I am a Certified Orthodontic Assistant and Expanded Duties Dental Assistant. I began in this field in 2011 and in 2022, I joined Scott Orthodontics.
I assist our doctors chairside with almost all orthodontic procedures, placing and adjusting braces, working with Invisalign and additional orthodontic appliances such as expanders. I educate patients on how to take care of their braces or other orthodontic devices. My favorite part of my job is watching the transformation of confidence from when a patient begins treatment with insecurities about their smile to the blossoming confidence of having a beautiful new smile! I love working with the doctors and team at Scott Orthodontics because they truly care about the overall dental health and comfort of their patients.
I am married to my best friend, Jake. We have a 13-year-old daughter, Leah, and a super spoiled pup named Addie. We love the Florida lifestyle and can usually be found on our boat at the sandbar or a local beach restaurant. I love spending time with family, traveling to new places, trying local restaurants, working out, and anything that challenges me physically.

I began working for Dr. Scott in 1995. As the scheduling coordinator, I work hard to schedule appointments for patients that will fit into their busy lives. In addition to schedule management, I greet new and existing patients when they visit our office, and I facilitate incoming calls.
I love spending time with new and existing patients when they visit our office. I enjoy working with people and feel gratified when I can help others. I feel very fortunate that I can work with such a great group of people who truly care about our patients and each other.
When I am not working, my husband and I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I have two grown children and three grandchildren. I also love to cook Italian food, and I love traveling.

I began working in the field in 2019 as a sterilization technician and have learned every position in an orthodontic practice.
At Scott Orthodontics, I assist the orthodontists chairside, follow treatment prescriptions, and help patients maintain oral hygiene. The doctors and team bring a fresh and welcoming attitude to work daily. I enjoy seeing patients' smiles transform and knowing I had played a part in their achievement. Everyone works together to achieve one goal: providing an excellent patient experience.
My boyfriend and I spend our free time practicing archery, playing with our three dogs, tending to our chickens, or somewhere on the water.

I am a certified orthodontic assistant, certified dental assistant, CPR certified, and X-ray certified, with more than 20 years of experience in the dental field. Since joining Scott Orthodontics in 2018, I’ve loved working with our patients and seeing them from the beginning to the end. I enjoy seeing their confidence change as their smiles improve. The kindness and caring of both doctors and the staff makes the office feel like home. These are the best doctors and staff anyone could ask for!
My husband and I live in Winter Haven with our three fur babies. We have one cat and two mini Australian shepherds. We enjoy taking our dogs everywhere with us. We like going to the beach, boating, and any activity in the sun. We also enjoy traveling!
